Ceremony decor at The Loft

I wanted to share a great DIY ceremony backdrop idea from a recent wedding at The Loft.

One of the great attributes of The Venue and The Loft is that with the exposed brick, large windows, and steel beams, a little bit of decor goes a long way.  Ceremony decorations are always a topic of discussion:  how much is too much and how much is not enough?  I thought that this client came up with a creative, easy, DIY backdrop for her ceremony.

She used colored tulle tied to a piece of PVC pipe which we attached to the ceiling with thin metal wire.  Not only was it light-weight, it didn't get tangled, and added a nice bit of texture to her pictures.

After we re-set the room for the reception, we were able to use the backdrop again as a focal piece behind the head table.

Stay tuned for more photos from recent events!
