Wedding trends and ideas

Mason jars have become very popular in lieu of centerpiece vases and in other aspects of wedding decor of late.  They exude an ecclectic, vintage feel that a lot of our clients want to evoke.  Below are some examples of events at The Venue and The Loft that used mason jars in beautiful and interesting ways.

The blue color is the most popular, but also the most sought after.  Plan to start early at garage and yard sales, antique malls, and flea markets to make sure there are enough for your event.

Burlap and twine, vintage books, and wildflowers completed the DIY aesthetic that Sarah was going for at her event in The Loft.  She even had an antique refrigerator overflowing with daisies!

Last fall, Lauren created her own cupcake display by utilizing mason jars and rectangular pieces of clear glass.  There were 3 sizes of jars to achieve different heights, and to secure the glass, she used round double-stick dots on the lids of the jars.
